Social Work Class

See below for an email from the Social Work professor this morning. I couldn’t get back in touch with her this afternoon for further clarification.

Wow - I didn’t know they’d all go ask for help!  I’ve pasted in the assignment below.  I think the difficulty they are having is in identifying a specific enough policy.  One group is using WIC, another is using the SCHIP - those should be pretty easy for them to find on the internet.  But one group was struggling to identify a policy relating to veteran’s mental health . . . that’s outside my area of expertise and I didn’t know how best to direct them, so suggested they come ask for some help.

this is the first time I’ve taught this in the summer, but I give the same assignment to my spring semester 742 students every year.  Sorry if it’s too much a burden - I’ll try to help them more in-class - I didn’t know lots of them were coming over!  Thanks for all your help!
